For those not versed in electrical upgrades here is the translation of what this sort of setup gets you in plain english terms.
- All electrical outlets will work even when not plugged in to shore power due to the inverter and wiring we got done
- We got a beefy inverter so even heavy electrical draws hair dryer, coffee maker won't 'trip' the system
- You can run the AC off battery alone due to the combination of high end battery/wiring setup and 'EasyStart' installed on the AC. Very few trailers can do this. It's great when you pull over during a road trip for a bite to eat and it's roasting outside.
- We have maxed out the solar on the roof so with 'reasonable' usage of electricity you can stay off grid boondocking almost indefinitely so long as it's sunny
- We have 400 ah of lithium batteries in the trailer which simply translates into an absolute ton of battery capacity. Factory doesn't come anywhere close.
- We used all top end components Victron solar charge controller, inverter, battery monitor etc. which allows us to get the absolute most out of our solar setup.
- We got all of the above installed by an expert so the wiring etc. is significantly better than what came out of the factory
This is the highest end electrical setup you can get in this type of trailer. Haven't seen another Bambi available with this level of upgrade. FastWay e2 distribution hitch included. Has composite floor desirable just like the 2021 models. Not all 2020 models have this, ours does. Bought it new in July 2020 and used it for weekend trips to local state parks until early September. Barely used and still has almost all of its warranty remaining.
