2018 Globetrotter For Sale
Downsizing and six years of full timing across the United States and Canada, allowed me to establish myself as a fulltime artist. Now it s time to settle into an arts area and open up my own studio. So I"m selling my 2018 Globetrotter and letting someone else enjoy her as much as I did.
My model has the front bedroom queen bed and rear dinette that also folds down into a bed with panoramic windows, and two sunroofs for lots of light and wonderful views. Folded down it works lovely as a large L shaped couch hosting a nice group of friends for social hour. With the table down the space can also be nice for a second bed. With the table up it works nicely as a space to host a nice meal or a work space with a lovely view of the outdoors, and in the heat of the summer the back manual awning and ceiling fan above keep things cool. The long thin awning refrdigerator side of the trailer are a true benefit when there are no trees and also help keep the trailer cool in an environmentally friendly way.
The interior, Natural Elm Barcelona Blue, has been left as it was quite neutral and can be spiced up with color by pillows and throws.
The exterior features the automatic patio awning, automatic stabilizer jacks and automatic front jack. My model has 50 amp and two AC units on the top with a Heat Pump and a full Zip Dee Awning package, plus a microwave oven and televisions in the front end and back end. There is an outdoor shower, handy for dog baths and beach clean up.
It still has a few years of warranty protection. And I have all of the original paperwork, as well as the two booklets that are out there for Airstream maintenance.

I also found in owning a travel trailer there is always something that needs to be done or you would like to do, or a part of the design that just didn t work well. Because there are a few minor fixes to be done on my to do next list I m selling the trailer discounted for 85K as a thank you for accepting it as is. And separate from the sale price I have a bunch of gear to gift to whoever buys the trailer.</p><p>Next On My To Do List</p><ul><li>The trailer needs new latches on front bedroom windows. Current ones work but don t fully lock. Window also has the shade window over it so they aren t going to open, but still needs new latches. I never used that window so It hadn t dawned on me to lubricate them. The others are top notch. </li><li>It needs a new motor on the back AC. Priced at a local RV Store you can pick one up for under 300. Add the cost of paying someone to put it in this is not a huge expense. Front AC is still functioning. I typically only ran one AC at a time or things would get too cold.</li><li>The trailer has my AS number and wally sticker on the outside. I wasn t sure if you might want to inherit the number? If so it needs to be paid to start up again. The company said it was not necessary in my model after looking at it. I also observed others get the recall work done, where the shelves were put back up the same way they were originally put up, only to fall again. I chose to hire a contractor and add extra long strong screws inside of cabinet to support my upper cabinet when mine looks like it was starting to slip, and have had no problems since then.</p><p>Bathroom Door handle</p><p>The handle kept falling off. After falling off twice, and learning replacement is 200 for the handle plus 110 for every hour worked on as they are not so simple to put in yourself when my handle finally locked me out of my bathroom I got creative. I have wood trim glued to the door and side both outside and inside with old fashioned silver hooks. To keep door closed. | <p>2018 Globetrotter For Sale</p><p>After six years of full timing across the United States and Canada, it s time to sell my 2018 Globetrotter and let someone else enjoy her.</p><p>My model has the front bedroom queen bed and rear dinette that also folds down into a bed with panoramic windows, and two sunroofs for lots of light and wonderful views.</p><p>The interior Natural Elm Barcelona Blue</p><p>The exterior features the automatic patio awning, automatic stabilizer jacks and automatic front jack. My model has 50 amp and two AC units on the top with a Heat Pump and a full Zip Dee Awning package, plus a microwave oven and televisions in the front end and back end. </p><p>Slightly Used and Greatly Loved:</p><p>No, I don t have the original bedding amp; pillows. I also found in owning a travel trailer there is always something that needs to be done or you would like to do, or a part of the design that just didn t work well. Because there are a few minor fixes to be done on my to do next list I m selling the trailer discounted for 85K as a thank you for accepting it as is. And separate from the sale price I have a bunch of gear to gift to whoever buys the trailer.</p><p>Next On My To Do List</p><ul><li>The trailer needs new latches on front bedroom windows. Current ones work but don t fully lock. Window also has the shade window over it so they aren t going to open, but still needs new latches. I never used that window so It hadn t dawned on me to lubricate them. The others are top notch. </li><li>It needs a new motor on the back AC. Priced at a local RV Store you can pick one up for under 300. Add the cost of paying someone to put it in this is not a huge expense. Front AC is still functioning. I typically only ran one AC at a time or things would get too cold.</li><li>The trailer has my AS number and wally sticker on the outside. I wasn t sure if you might want to inherit the number? If so it needs to be paid to start up again. The number reflects the trailer s age.</li><li>Summer Bath</li></ul><p>Upgrade that I did </p><p> 2 six volt AGM Batteries 2019</p><p> Mattress replaced 2019</p><p> New Tires April 2024</p><p>Worked Out The Kinks My DIY:</p><p>Kitchen Cupboards </p><p>The cupboards in this model had a recall for falling down. The company said it was not necessary in my model after looking at it. I also observed others get the recall work done, where the shelves were put back up the same way they were originally put up, only to fall again. I chose to hire a contractor and add extra long strong screws inside of cabinet to support my upper cabinet when mine looks like it was starting to slip, and have had no problems since then.</p><p>Bathroom Door handle</p><p>The handle kept falling off. After falling off twice, and learning replacement is 200 for the handle plus 110 for every hour worked on as they are not so simple to put in yourself when my handle finally locked me out of my bathroom I got creative. I have wood trim glued to the door and side both outside and inside with old fashioned silver hooks. To keep door closed. Have you considered trading for smaller unit ? Or are you no longer camping ? My wife and I have an 2014 25 FB International Onyx special addition. We would like to get something a little lager we spend our winters in Arizona.

I will need to sell the trailer to get into a loft space so that I can have a home studio for my art. Ironically the airstream life helped me get going on being an artist, and my success has been growing so now I need sticks and bricks walls to show my art in a home studio. I still show in galleries and coffee shops but I no longer want to have to rent a studio space. Thanks for the idea though.
