2004 Airstream Bambi 16 International CCD

Trailer is located in central Connecticut.
My wife and I have enjoyed this trailer very much since purchasing it in 2015.
It has a Connecticut Rebuilt Salvage Title. The trailer was in an accident with the original owner. From information I was provided, damage was limited primarily to the exterior aluminum panels. I purchased the trailer from an RV dealer in Kansas who performed the repairs. When I took it to Connecticut DMV for the rebuilt salvage inspection, the senior inspector complemented me on the excellent condition of the trailer. It passed the inspection with flying colors.
We are in our 6th season towing and camping with this trailer. We have not had any problems over thousands of travel miles. It tows wonderfully. We tow with an Eaz Lift Weight Distributing Hitch which we re happy to include with the trailer. Wheel bearings and electric brakes are in very good condition. Trailer has been stored each off season during our ownership in climate controlled indoor storage.
Airstream no longer makes the 16 Bambi in International trim. This limited edition model featured design from Christopher C. Deem. This model features very large lighted overhead compartments providing much more storage than current 16 Bambis.
Trailer systems are all in good working order. The Zip Dee awning has acrylic fabric material and is in excellent condition.
Upgrades from stock include
- 2 GC 2 6V AGM Golf Cart Batteries wired in series 190 amp hours increased battery power for boondocking
- Progressive Dynamics 4 stage charger converter with Charge Wizard
- All lighting replaced with LED bulbs/Panels.
- High Efficiency refrigerator exhaust fan with new thermocouple
- Viking Cylinders Composite Propane Tank. Remove from trailer without tools.
- Covercraft Weathershield Custom Fitted Trailer Cover
- Maxxis 8008 Trailer Tires
- Pro Series 2,500lb. Electric A Frame jack manual crank handle included
- Missouri Mattress Cool Breeze custom memory foam mattress with custom mattress cover and fitted sheets
