PENDING PICK UP
We are selling our 1978, 31' Airstream Sovereign Land Yacht. My husband and I had intended to fully remodel this, but with home construction underway, we have decided that there are just too many projects 'closer to home' and we hate to see this trailer not get the attention she deserves.
Now on to the good, the bad, and the ugly.
Good: All major mechanical works as it should, including power systems electrical and hydraulic, water system and plumbing, stove, refrigerator, toilet, and electric jack. All windows open and close snugly, and both of the original awnings extend and retract. Her skin is in good condition for her age, with the worst of the wrinkles being shown in the photos. And best of all, there is so much original! Including the original owner's manual.
Bad: We would consider this trailer to be a park model. The axles have sagged a bit so to make her road worthy, it is recommended that they be replaced. This is reflected in the price. A few of the upper windows have 'bubbled', but still appear to be water tight. We are missing one of the roof vent covers.
Ugly: One awning arm had pulled through the skin, but it was repaired/replaced. You can see signs of that in one of the images. There is some road rash or rub marks along the left rear panel, but they do not penetrate the skin.
Please feel free to ask questions, or just come take a look. I can email more pictures upon request. Price is OBO.
Thank you!
Amy
