Nice 1977 Argosy, "the painted Airstream", mostly complete and original, a good restoration candidate. This trailer is 26 feet long, with a rear bath, two twin beds, and a front couch that converts to a bed.

All original and complete, only missing the tambour door under the sink. All the glass is good, the original KT door lock is good with keys, all exterior compartment doors function and have keys as well. Includes the original CareFree awning, Argosy center caps on the wheels, and the original axles. There is a dent on the rear endcap and some wrinkling on the rear street side of the body, these should be fairly straightforward repairs wrinkling is mild enough that body filler could be considered if the intention is to keep this a painted trailer . End caps have had some retouching with spray paint, but look good.

There is floor rot by the door and by the refrigerator compartment the original refrigerator vent cap had holes in it and let water in which soaked some carpet I have removed, I believe that to be the main source of the floor rot. I've replaced the vent cap with a new aluminum version. There also appeared to be a failure in the gasket for the vent stack, I have replaced that as well.

Awning works, but needs some TLC. The thumb screws that secure the arms in an extended position are damaged, I secured them for the photos with vice grips. The attachment points at the bottom of the trailer are loose, and the braces that hold the arms out from the trailer aren't attached. I have them both, they need to be reattached, and one needs some work on one end.

Excellent potential to use as is with a little renovation new tires would be a must if towing any distance, and there is floor rot by the door and at the very rear of the trailer and some rust on the outriggers in the wheel wells and the holding tank framework or put more time and effort in and get her back to top shape.

External pictures are from last summer, internal ones are from this spring. To be clear, although everything is there almost all of it needs some love or attention. Appliances haven't been tested, refrigerator is from another Argosy from the same year and hasn't been connected.

I have a set of brand new trailer tires that I can mount on airstream rims and provide with the trailer for an extra 400. Trailer lights aren't working, looks like the pigtail got pinched, I will provide a set of temporary lights for transport, have no idea if the brakes work but they would not work with temporary lights.
