Time for our beloved Airstream to find a new home. She's parked on our land with water, electric and septic hookups. Used as a temporary living space for workers on our organic mini farm since 2015; and an office/guest space for 2 years. Although we still own the land, we moved and prefer not to look after the Airstream.
We've not used it as a camping trailer. It towed well, with decent tires when moved to our property. As the third owners, we did extensive work to restore and maintain her.
- 5000 lbs, 2 axels, tires have been covered
- Clean title
- Rear bath, center twin beds
- All manuals
- Original Dometic Fridge and Freezer work
- Original propane burners and wall oven work
- Original interior including curtains a few shades remain
- Catalytic propane heater, propane tanks
UPDATES:
- Replaced transformer
- New water heater
- All plumbing systems replaced with PEX
- Replaced cracked lights, broken vents, etc.
- High quality foam mattresses on twin beds
- Composting humanure toilet
- Shower head
NEEDS:
- DC system is not functioning well; new lights/fans worked 2 years ago, but need troubleshooting
- Onboard potable water storage and black water tanks not tested
- Original Gaucho couch pulls out to full Bed; covers need TLC or replacing.
- A few dings and one dent on front. Not polished.
- AC not tested
- Forced air furnace / thermostat defunct
- Original tambour sliding doors many are sticky to operate
