1975 Airstream Overlander 27 - Colorado Private Seller

Iam selling my beloved 1975 Overlander 27 Deluxe International Airstream because I don t use it enough and would like another vintage project trailer. Its serial number is I27 T5J 3054. I purchased this Overlander in the fall of 2017 and have completely renovated it into a reliable and comfortable like new Airstreamt ravel trailer. I enjoy working with my hands and head. It is an ideal size with a gross weight of 6200 lbs dry and a tongue weight of about 650 lbs. It is easy to maintain and repair. A half ton V8 pickup will tow it just fine. The body is in great shape and everything works inside and out. Here is a brief description of my renovation project from the ground up:
New tires and wheels
New brakes, bearings, shocks and axles
The frame is completely rust repaired and painted; strong as new
New under floor rigid foam insulation
New aluminum belly pan
New larger waste water tanks; 40 gallon black water, 27 gallon grey
New PEX fresh water and ABS waste water plumbing throughout
New water heater
New 40 lbs propane tanks and pressure regulator
New 120v power distribution panel
New refrigerator
New microwave
New two burner cook top; e.g. one for bacon and one for the eggs.
New sink faucets
New toilet
New12v AGM battery now 4 years old but used very little
New door and window gaskets
New Blue Ox hitch included
New Korhee door latch with deadbolt replacing the old KT lock
New bed mattresses and new gaucho foam Very comfortable
New dog proof synthetic leather on the gaucho cushions
Newer curtains by the previous owner.
Newer Zip Dee awning by the previous owner.
My Overlander is ready for your travel season. It has ample storage room for long trips. I will demonstrate all of its systems to you. I have the owner s manual and a Airstream service manual as well as the appliance manuals. It has a clear title and Colorado license plates. It is difficult to establish a sell price, but I have got 30,000 invested in my Overlander. It is much cheaper than a new Airstream. I am willing to work with you on the price. Please note the towel, bedding, dishes, and other of our personal items are not included. Give me a shout if you would like to see the thing. E mail via Airstream classifieds is best as cell signal is poor herein the mountains, although we can make a phone call appointment if you prefer. The trailer is stored inside my shop so weather isn't a factor at the showing.
