My in laws purchased a house and the property came with a 1968 Airstream. Neither of them have a vehicle to tow the Airstream nor do they have any interest in using the trailer as a guest house like the previous owners were doing. They would like the Airstream sold so someone can enjoy the trailer and put it to good use.

The Airstream was left hooked up to power, gas, and septic at the property, all which still work. Neither my in laws nor myself have much knowledge about trailers like this, but it seems very well maintained. The sellers demonstrated that all of the facets and shower worked. The toilet flushes and sends sewage to our septic using an installed macerator pump. The lighting works, although the original control panel does not seem to be properly wired anymore. Gas for the range works, but the oven does not seem to heat up. It looks like they installed an modern AC system on the roof.

At the time of purchase, the previous owners did not have the Airstream properly registered. My in laws took the time to have the trailer registered properly in the state of California and the California Highway Patrol came out and performed a safety inspection on it. My in laws both hold a valid title and the vehicle is currently registered. The previous owners purchased the trailer in December of 2018 and was then driven to our property. I've checked the tire pressure and the wheels seem to be in good shape. Between that, the CHP inspection, and the recent travel, I have no reason not to believe that it can't be driven off of the property with a capable truck.
