1967 Airstream 22ft. Safari Twin
We have two Airstreams. This 1967 Safari was our first Airstream that we enjoyed for many years. I like to fix stuff and as you will see in the list of new stuff, I wanted a no problem no worry camper. Well,grandkids came along so we purchased a bigger 1978 Tradewind. The 1967 Safarijust is not getting used so it s time to pass it along to someone else.
1 Purchased used in 2008. Major rebuild in 2014/15. Most items are from the 2014/15 rebuild.

g Replaced water damaged wood flooring at door,refrigerator access, and storage access compartments.
h Removed tile floor. Replaced with COREtec Plus vinylplank floating floor.

a Rear frame separation corrected replaced woodflooring, replaced aluminum wall floor attachment channel.
b Removed and replaced the bottom aluminum panelsfor access to the frame
i Sand blasted the frame and re painted withPor 15.
ii Removed old insulation. Replaced with new foamboard insulation.
c Repaired and welded frame crack at the axlemount. Added 2x2 steel stiffeners.
d Replaced sections of wood floor at door, and twoaccess doors.
e Replaced square access doors with late model round cornerframe/doors.
f Replaced all window and door seals.
g Replaced front door handle assembly
h Replaced entry pull out stairs with later modelaluminum stairs.
