This beautifully restored 1965 22 ft. Airstream Safari Land Yacht is a true survivor and is ready to be enjoyed by the next owner.
The previous owner had this Safari for 22 years, and properly stored it indoors and it shows. The condition is truly amazing.
The period correct upholstery and curtains are new and compliment the original cabinets and countertops perfectly. The factory installed bath tub/shower combo and the appliances are all intact including the original Magic Chef stove which is in excellent condition.
The axle and brakes have been rebuilt, and she was recently towed 2,000 miles. Priced below market for this condition as no space to store in my warehouse. Located in St Marys Georgia, 40 minutes from Jacksonville, FL.

The previous owner had this Safari for 22 years, and properly stored it indoors. With its shiny skin and iconic shape this 22 Safari, with its period interior, will be enjoyed by Airstream fans and car enthusiasts alike at any Car Show. </p><p>This 65 Airstream has 90 of its original interior, with the cabinets and the veneer in incredible condition. With a little effort she can be brought back to 100 stock. </p><p>Additionally this Airstream maintains its original bath tub/shower combo as well as all of the original bathroom fixtures. The factory installed Magic Chef stove is in excellent condition and it has its original International brand cabin heater and Bowen propane hot water heater. </p><p>The plumbing works running cold water. See video in Gallery. However the drain valve in the service compartment leaks. </p><p>The bulk of the restoration was done 12 years ago. At the time the power converter was replaced and some of the plumbing was redone. </p><p>The axle and brakes have been rebuilt, and she was towed 2,000 miles from Wisconsin to Georgia. The driver who towed stated that this Safari tows great, and all lights and brakes are functioning as they should.</p><p>Decoding the VIN shows that this Airstream is a Jackson Center, Ohio built 1965 22 ft. Safari Land Yacht. Additionally the original outside model and VIN plaque survived the times and has been framed.</p><p>Price for quick sale as I do not want to store outside. I am a dealer and no space to store in my warehouse. I had on Hemmings, not right audience. It sure looks and smells like a scam to me. Something worth more than twice the selling price but no "room" for it in a warehouse that happens to be 40 miles from home? Just sayin' be careful.
I am interested in your airstream. I am currently returning home from Texas and the eclipse and will arrive in Jacksonville Tuesday Evening. Any chance of seeing your trailer Tuesday afternoon?
