1964 Airstream Bambi II Vintage Trailer

This cute as a button tiny Airstream is small and light weight but packed with features. The trailer is 17 long, weighs a mere 1,950lbs, and has a meager 250lbs tongue weight. Being an Airstream it tows wonderfully it comes with an Easy Lift tow hitch assembly with load leveling bars. This trailer is fully functional and camp ready! Load up your personal gear and head to the coast or mountains.

It has been owned by members of the vintage trailering community in the Pacific Northwest for many years. It has been well maintained with minor alterations from the original factory design. It has a clear clean title and a notebook of documentation on the work and maintenance done. This is perfect for those little weekend getaways for two.

The exterior of the trailer is in fantastic shape with no major dints, dings, nor tears. Finding a 58 year old trailer in this shape is no easy task. The trailer was polished over a decade ago. Although someone could give it a touch up it is very presentable as it currently sits. The Awning is not permanently mounted but original slide on pole and guideline style. There are two propane tanks mounted on the tongue and a spare tire mounted on the rear bumper. The interior is largely original with a few modifications for ease of use. Despite the trailers small size it does have a full wet bath, toilet and shower. The original hot water heater has been replaced by an on demand propane water heater. Although the cook top has been removed in preference to exterior cooking on a camp stove, a microwave has been added to assist in quick meal prep. The original duo stage fridge has been replaced with a standard 110 fridge. The forward gaucho bench/bed remains in place but the street side secondary gaucho has been replaced with a more functional dinette and storage cabinet. The original Zolatone interior paint is in near perfect condition with little signs of age, it is not flaking or chipped. The original factory lights all work nicely.

Is it perfect? Heck no, but it is in extremely good shape for its age and is ready to use. Feel free to call me with any questions or for further information. Brad L. Taylor, Shiny Shacks 5zero3 8seven1 7eight60.
