This is an Ohio built 1954 Cruiser, that we rebuilt in 2021, from the frame up. It has all the amenities of a 2020 Flying Cloud, with the Classic looks of the 1954 Airstream. We took many parts from a salvage 2020 Flying Cloud, as well as restoring the original stove, sink, cabinet hardware, and windows. It is now a fully modern Airstream with 310 watts of solar panels, 300 amp hour lead acid batteries, Trimetric battery monitor, and a Magnum inverter to boondock comfortably. It has a 40 gallon fresh water tank, 70 gallon gray tanks, and a 40 gallon black tank. The entire exterior aluminum has been replaced, except the rear end cap, which was in excellent condition. The windows were rebuilt with tempered glass, and silicone gaskets. It has new Dexter torsion axles. The interior aluminum is new, and painted with multi spec paint. The walls and cabinets are ash and ash plywood, finished with tung oil. The flooring is Armstrong VCT tiles cut down to 9 to resemble the original floor. The kitchen, bath, and shower faucets, and ceramic toilet are from the 2020. It has led lights throughout. It has awnings on both sides. This was appraised by Polk and Associates at 166,000 in December of 2020. We are about an hour south of FortWorth and Dallas, Texas, near Lake Whitney.
