Classic Refurbished 1948 Westcraft Sequoia 27 10 "Trolley Top" Long Travel Trailer

Excellent construction and beautiful lines define this timeless classic 1948 Westcraft Sequoia Trolley Top travel trailer. Westcraft trailers were some of the highest quality trailers on the market during the 1940 s and 1950 s and this one still shines to this day. This trailer has been refurbished with numerous modern amenities, while keeping the classic vintage look and feel with the traditional wood, period correct lighting, Marmoleum floor and more.

Since the refit, the trailer has been stored and maintained in an indoor climate controlled storage area. The exterior colors were done with acrylic enamel and the interior walls in Birch. It was taken down to the frames, re wired, re plumbed, re paneled and insulation was installed into the floors, walls, and ceiling as well. A long list of finishing details round out the refit, with a few items left to "make it your own". Those items include curtains, cushions, and appliances. This Westcraft Sequoia is ready for your style and preferences.

When you first walk into the trailer you will notice the beautiful new curved laminate overhead, which brings you right back into the 50 s era. There is a large L shaped dinette with a custom table which easily stows away offering a very open feel. There is plenty of storage in the back and underneath the bench seating.

Moving into the kitchen area you will see the newly plumbed and ventilated refrigeration space with microwave/convection space above. The countertops are butcher block with five overhead storage compartments and loads of under countertop storage on both sides. Opposing windows can be opened on both side too. There are also new copper gas lines for a propane stove as well.

Moving into the mid part of the RV is the split bath. There is a full size shower with an opening overhead vent adjacent to the butcher block vanity and copper bowl sink with below and overhead storage. The trailer is set up for a composting toilet not included .

Towards the front of the trailer is the spacious bedroom with a separate second entrance. A full/queen bed with dual nightstands and reading lights with ac outlets makes this space warm and inviting. There is an abundance of storage in here as well, with two large overhead cabinets, drawers below the bed on each side, and even a laundry drawer at the end of the bed. Two hanging closets with drawer storage and a drop in hidden compartment provides secure storage for the important items.

On the outside rear of the camper you will find a large exterior trunk and entry lighting at each door. Running lights, as well as all courtesy lighting are all authentic fixtures with the original Westcraft badge. There is a new freshwater hook up, new 30 amp electrical inlet and cable tv hookup. New 3 grey water hookup with a Valterra shutoff valve. Dual 16.2 pound propane tanks with new regulator and rotary selector switch. LCI electric tongue jack in op . As well as new trailer running lighting hookup and plug.

Specifications are:

Dry weight = 4580lbs.

Tongue weight is approx. 700lbs.

Overall exterior dimensions approx: 27 10 L including tongue x 7 10 W x 8 4 H from the ground to the top of the roof vent cap.

The tongue extends approx. 2 7

This same trailer was posted 8 years ago with the same description half the price. It included the appliances and sink. It’s still posted as “Classic Refurbished 1948 Westcraft Sequoia 27'-10” long travel trailer” $44,500. Can you please let me know what you have added to this build that could justify the price increase? I understand price appreciation, but I’m not sure why it’s priced as a “new” retro-fit and is missing parts from 8 years ago that should be there.
