I bought the airstream about 10 years ago, I saw it under a barn overhang in Cabazon, Ca. where it was stored for 16 years. After several years of pestering the owner, he finally sold it to me. The trailer has been stored for a total of 26 years and has not been licensed since 1983, it currently has a NON-OP from DMV. I spent 25 years in the Military and was unable to use the trailer. I have undergone 23 surgical procedures which has ended any dreams I had for traveling with it. I have not used it once since I bought it. There is not much I can tell you about the trailer because I put it in storage and never used it. I put brand new tires on it a couple of months ago. It still had the original tires, but they were dried out. It has a rear bath, all original cabinetry, roll up doors. Separate Oven and Gas Stove top. Service and owners manuals included. Living area has queen-size sofa bed (folds down) sleeps two. Side dinette table drops down. Rear twins can be converted to queen size. Excella has all the luxury touches: oak vanity bath, kitchen base cabinets, and storage galore, two closet, this is all original, with the body being in great shape.

I have a 1969 Airstream Tradewind for sale. I bought this trailer, but it turns out it was a little too heavy for my V-6 Dodge Dakota to pull. I have started the restoration, but I just don't have the time to finish. It has had a thourough cleaning, and I did put new 12"x12" vinyl tile on most of the floor, and I have the rest of the tile to finish the job. It has the original layout, with all original appliances. It needs a little work, as most trailers of this age do, but it is in great shape and will take just a little work to be in camping condition! I will list the known facts about the trailer below:

CLEAR SC TITLE!
Tires have less than 200 miles on them
Interior lights function
Water system works. There are a couple of copper pipes that burst last winter, so these would need to be repaired. (Approximately 1"-2" sections)
All original appliances
Has awning frame (needs new canvas)
Original layout/floor plan (Only element missing is the small foldup table in the galley)
Exterior in good condition. Only a couple of very minor dings, one small crease in rear top curbside panel
Some running lights work, some do not. Probably needs some new bulbs, covers, etc. I would recommend having portable magnetic lights just in case
LPG system I have been unable to test. I do have two of the large LPG tanks that go with the trailer, but they need to be filled, and a new valve at the trailer connection to connect the tanks. There's not too much that can go wrong with an LPG system though. With intact gas lines, it's usually just a matter of thermostats, gas valves, etc.
I will also include a weight distribution hitch that came with the trailer when I got it. I can take pictures of this if needed
All of the exterior windows and door are intact. Some of the window seals probably need to be replaced. The front door handle does not close properly, hence the latch closure. This could possibly be repaired, or replaced if needed
Belly pan is in good solid condition
The cushions/upholstery need to be replaced. These are not in the trailer. They were too bad to keep
There are no major leaks. There are a couple of small leaks near the kitchen window. These should be stopped with new window seals

This is overall a great trailer. With a couple of weekends of work, you would be ready to camp in style. If you would like specific photos taken, or more information, I will be happy to provide.
