I am looking for a Meynell 3-Burner Stove with oven for my 1962 Airstream 22′ Safari. – – – This specific stove was only used in 1962 Ohio built 19′ and 22′ Airstreams, though it may have been used in other trailer brands in or around 1962. The dimensions of the stove case are approximately 22″ W x 19 5/8″ D x 19 3/4″ H (though the control knobs and burner grates stick out further). Curiously, the name Meynell is not visible anywhere on the stove, but a unique feature of these stoves are the control knobs are mounted on a perforated plate with horizontal slots that have rounded ends. It also originally used an unusual burner grate style that you can see in the attached photos. – – – I am looking for one in better condition with minimal rust. The oven door color does not matter as that can be repainted. – – – As you can see from the attached photos, my original stove, which is in the process of being cleaned to remove as must rust as possible (not done yet), has quite a bit of rust that, even after cleaning, shows thru the chrome (and nickel?) plating. The stove top has significant pitting and loss of plating, especially under the burners. – – – I have no idea how much these are worth, but am willing to pay a reasonable price based upon condition (and shipping, if too far for a personal pickup). Thanks in advance. – – – P.S. Larger 24′ – 30′ 1962 Ohio Airstreams got a 4-burner Meynell that is larger and won’t fit in my original kitchen cabinet. California built 1962 Airstreams instead had Princess stoves. I am not interested in those.
