I'm looking for an Airstream ( 22' - 26').
I would like for it to be empty, but I'm not stressing about that.
I can pick it up.

I would like the frame and the shell to be in relatively good shape.

Thanks for looking.

Hello from Colorado: Welcome to Air Forums. You posted your ad in the Classified section of these Forums. There are many vintage Airstreams for sale there. Use the advance search feature to search in the year range you might want. Your ad made me think of pre 69 trailers.

I found my Overlander on these Classifieds. And I sold my Trade Wind on these Classifieds. I bet you will find what you want.

Greetings from Colorado: Welcome to these Air Forums Connollydvm. There are folks here who can give you some unofficial "appraisals" with additional information. Actually lots of additional information is needed. The first thing to do is start your own thread in the Dollars and Cents, then "Trailer Values" subcategory. Your 1949 Airstream might look kinda like a "Liner" with that unique front window. I think Forum participants would enjoy offering their opinion on the value of this antique Airstream. Post several good pictures of the trailer in your thread so folks can see all of the body, and some interior shots as well. Then describe the trailer the best you can. Your assessment of the axle, bearings, brakes, frame, subfloor, body, windows, door, and other systems help determine the value. I think this year had that "pipe" and ladder frame. There are folks on these Forums that thoroughly enjoy restoring these old Airstreams and showing them at rallys. Your old trailer has value of course unless a tree happened to have fallen on it and crushed it. Buyers need to determine how many dollars it will take to restore this trailer to "as new" condition. It will be a lot of dollars for sure. Hope this helps.... David

Thanks David I’ll post more picks on my trailervalues post. It isn’t in need of much restoration as it’s all original interior and tows drives fine but it could use a polish.

I have been trying for three hours to place an add on Airstreamclassifieds.com and have gotten nowhere.
What am I doing wrong?

if you are a first-time poster, it looks like you are, and you're placing an ad it will need to go through a hold period until they check it over and approve it to go through. Possibly that is the problem. Sent from my XT1254 using Airstream Forums mobile app

I've been trying the same for two hours and the website doesn't function as instructions read in the get started. Have you been successful? 7/3/2018
