Price REDUCED! 2015 Airstream Flying Cloud 19′ Bambi w/NEW Solar pkg. Like new condition, sleeps 4. We’re the 2nd owners and have owned it since July 2017. This is the absolute perfect size for adventure seeking long-term travelers or weekend wanderers. The 19′ can easily be backed into tight spaces and towed with an SUV crossover–we towed with a Toyota Highlander.
Along with all the standard Flying Cloud Bambi features, ours also includes:
* 150w Solar Panels, (3) 50w – NEW 2018
* MPPT solar charge controller, 12vdc – NEW 2017
* (2) deep cycle 12VDC batteries – NEW 2018
* Equalizer Hitch with anti-sway
* Bamboo pantry/closet organizer – NEW 2017
* Ultraleather Dwell Dinette Seating – super easy to clean and maintain
* Oceanair Roller Blinds
* Gas Oven – a MUST for adventure travel and boondocking without a generator.
* Awning – like new, barely used
Standard features: Shower with separate toilet, vanity sink, 3 burner gas cooktop, Two-way refrigerator, Blue Ray DVD, Clarion receiver (with Bluetooth, Pandora, IPod, AM/FM, and DVD audio), surround sound, TV w/ antenna and cable. LED lighting inside and out, air conditioning, 2 automatic rain-sensing fans, bathroom fan
The exterior is in mint condition, however there are 3 VERY small dents that we have spotted.
We’ve done almost every type of Airstream travel, from long weekends to a 2 week road trip to Portland and the Oregon coast. We’ve boondocked in remote locations, stayed in the city at a full hook-up RV park, slept in parking lots (our first night was in a Walmart parking lot) and camped in the snow in late fall. We even watched a few family movies.
It’s true what they say about Airstreams–ours moved effortlessly from place to place, we stayed warm in the shoulder season and cool in the summer. Adventures were waiting and places to be discovered were just around the bend.
We traveled with our two children (7 and 10) and felt super safe. The airstream is also very sound proof–we’ve been able to sleep next to idling big rig trucks, other traveler’s generators and noisy campground neighbors.
If we love our Airstream so much, why are we selling? Because after we bought it we came across a 43 year old sailboat and spent last winter/spring renovating it. We spent this summer sailing and camping in the Airstream and have decided we want to spend more time sailboat camping. We wish we could do both, but our work and kid’s school schedules just don’t allow for the time commitment–owning an Airstream was a dream come true and an absolute luxury.
