1995 Airstream Classic 36 36 - California

77,900 miles. Just passed California smog last week with a new catalytic converter. Never in the northern states, so no rust at all. I’ve owned it for over two years and I really do not want to sell it but I have 2 motorhomes. The other is a 1999 Airstream Cutter diesel pusher; not as cool but one has to go.

I spent over $8,000 in the last year on repairs and upkeep, and I had 2 different shops go through everything to make sure it is reliable. Some of the recent work that I had done:
New dash AC compressor: $1,500
All new rear brakes (4 wheels): $1,140. Had front brakes checked and they are in good condition
Generator is like new with new 30 amp breaker, new fuel pump, new carburetor, new starter, new fuel lines and fresh oil: $1,440
All new batteries (3): $517
New water system pump
New fan clutch so engine runs cool
Reseal roof
New stereo and 4 speakers with enclosures
Tires are only 3 years old
Anti freeze replaced
New thermostat
Replaced fuel filter
Replaced air filter
New grey water tank valve
New headliner: $2,200
New Alternator: $800

All original manuals and records from new in 3 large binders, Fan-Tastic Fan works, 2 roof AC’s (front replaced with Carrier unit), refrigerator works well with new control board and AC heater element, microwave/convection oven, stove top works, shower and all plumbing working, separate rear stereo, 2 televisions, newer color backup camera. This Airstream looks great parked in front of my house but I don’t need 2 huge motorhomes.

Everything in this motorhome works. I drove it from Savanah, Georgia to Los Angeles, then to Sacramento last year in the heat of August and I did not have any problems. It runs great and I would trust taking it anywhere.
