SOLD!

After some tough decision making my wife and I have decided to sell our wonderful Airstream. When we bought it we only had 2 kids but we have since had our 3rd and the trailer is too small. We will buy a new one once this one is sold. We really want to move to a 30-34 with a dinette and a widebody. We bought this trailer a few years ago from P&S. Best I can tell I am the 3rd possibly the 4th owner. The trailer is in really good shape for its age and is ready to go camping! We use it at least one long weekend a month and 1 or 2 long trips per year. In August we took it to Acadia National Park in Maine for 10 days and hauled her 1200 miles with no issues. It is very easy to tow and I have done many upgrades since buying it.

When I bought it there were a few small spots of subfloor rot from leaks. The trailer had not been used in about 3-4 years. So I removed the carpet and replaced 2 small sections and replaced the flooring. here is a quick list of things I have done:

-It has new hard wood flooring and new carpet in the bedroom.

-The furnace was removed, cleaned, serviced, rebuilt and replaced the sail switch and igniter. works great no issues!

-The Water heater is in good working order but is original. I have a new Dinosaur board for it just incase.

-replaced oven with newer electronic ignition

-newer microwave

-The Fridge I believe is original. It works great! I have digital remote temp monitor and it will hold 2-6* freezer and 34-40*fridge in the summer. I added a small computer fan to circulate air when it is on. Works on gas or electric.

-The gas bottles are original (one was recertified). Replaced the regulator with a new auto change over type and fabricated new bracket and installed new lines and hoses. If you are familiar with these you know how flimsy the factory bracket is.

-Under carriage is nice, New spare tire on refinished steel wheel with cover, newer aluminum wheels and tires The wheels and tires are 2010 Goodyear Marathons and Factory take off's. I bought these off of here from someone who upgraded. They were from a 2010.

-4 brand new Dexter Never-adjust backing plates and repacked bearings done this year before trip to Maine

-refurbished Bathroom this past year. New wall paper, and vinyl in shower. Refinished the overhead cabinet and medicine cabinet. New shower drain, new exhaust fan, new porcelain toilet with wand, new counter and back splash, new salad bowl sink and new faucet, new SS mini blind. The toilet was replaced when I did the flooring. The subfloor was water proffed with rubber coating. Even if there was a leak the subfloor wont rot out.

-new Maxxair deluxe vent fans. IMO these are better than Fantastic they are low profile and have built in rain protection. They are the manual version with 10 speeds forward and reverse.

-new AC RVP Mach 8, 13,500 BTU AC with electric heat strip. In winter time if the temps are 40 and up the heat strip is enough to keep her warm inside.

-all seams have been sealed and are leak free

-front windows are tinted 20%, rear bedroom are 5%, bathroom is frosted peel and stick on the glass.

-many parts of the trailer were refinished by P&S. although the front end cap has typical clear coat failure again, and the street side top half has begun to show some signs of it as well. It was restriped probably 10 years ago also.

When I bought this trailer it came with a stack of receipts from the previous owners. Everything I have done is written on 3x5 index cards. The items listed above are just some of the major stuff. If you are serious about owning a real nice trailer I will be more than happy to show you everything and discuss details of the trailer. I want this trailer to go to a good home.

What this trailer needs:
She has a pretty good dent in the front right corner. (ran over a plastic wheel well from the car in front of me the day I bought it ugh!) With a set of SS rock guards this will be completely gone from sight. The couch could use new material, the shades and curtains could use a little tlc. I planned to replace them with mini blinds. The curtains are in pretty good shape for original but there are several elastics and track plastics that have broken. Easy fix if you can sew and have some patients. I had planned to redo the kitchen area the same as the bathroom but I have gotten around to it. I bought a new custom mini blind for the kitchen window.

I still have the original (recently refinished) steel wheels and tires, the original shower door and the Airstream Mirror that use to be on the wall they will go with. I als ohave a new set of shocks I neve put on they will be included.

The front TV, the Hensley hitch are NOT included.

Please feel free to contact me if you are serious about buying a really nice trailer then lets talk and make a deal. I am asking $20k for her, I will consider serious offers. Check out the trailer I believe you will not be disapointed.

There are over 200 pics in the photobucket link please feel free to check them out and don't hesitate to ask if you have any questions. The pics should give you a pretty good idea of what it is. I can take video and if you are too far away to see it your self we can set up a video chat and you can get a closer look that way. The outside pics and bathroom pics were taken in August. The rest were taken today.
