SELL PENDING: Selling our 27' 1988 Airstream Excella 1000. As our family grew we just outgrew this great trailer.

You can see some of the work we did on the trailer on our website: http://projectairstream.com/

In July 2011 we did the following work:
- Replaced both axles (bought from Collin)
- Installed brand new aluminum 16" wheels and new BFG tires (includes a matching spare whee/tire). The tires still seem in good condition and I doubt we put 5000 miles on them since they were installed.
- Installed a brand new 15,000BTU Carrier A/C (also has the heat pump)
- Installed a new toilet
- Replaced the carpet (has some type of wood, not sure if real or fake in kitchen/living)
- Replaced the laminent in bathroom
- Replaced all of the running lights with LED lights
- Reupholstered the sofa and all areas that had matching accents (sides of bulk heads, etc).
- Reconditioned the A frame/hitch.
- Added brand new aluminum gas tanks (the new ones were bought brand new in 2011).
- Installed a Reese Dual-Cam weight distribution/anti sway system.
- Installed 2 Fan-Tastic vent/fans (the nice ones).

In 2015:
- Installed a brand new 2 phase fridge (electric and gas). The old wood face didn't fit and I never got around to installing a new face, so that can be done to whatever material you would want down the road. We have literally used the trailer twice since we installed the fridge, but it works awesome.

The bathroom shower could use an update, but it's all use-able. The shell had some good dents in it when we bought the trailer and the blue stripe was almost completly flaked off. There is some hail damage on the roof. I'm not sure how much of it could be worked out, but it's a really nice trailer. We have taken the dents/hail into account in our price.'

Please let me know if you have any questions. Will be hard to find one that hasn't been completely renovated that has had so many upgrades. The 16" wheels are really great as it opens up options of finding GOOD replacement tires other than the horrible Goodyear 15" options that at least years ago were not a really safe option.

I tested out the A/C and fridge when we cleaned it up to list it. The furnace and hot water heater are both original. They both worked last time we used them, but they probably need to be serviced before using them next since it has sat for awhile.

This trailer has the cool window upper tinted guards and then the lower aluminum guards up front. Looks really awesome!

Please let me know if you have any questions!
