Up for sale here is Ollie, a 1973 31’ Airstream Sovereign that has recently been gutted down to the frame and renovated. I purchased Olli a few months ago from the couple that originally renovated her, and just as I had moved all of my things in to make it my full time residence, I unfortunately got hit with some unexpected medical costs which has forced me to put Olli up for sale.

Based on what the previous owner shared with me, the Airstream was originally from Florida where it spent most of its life and was only brought up to the Northeast last summer. I have a handful of photos of the reno from the previous owners which I can send over if you’d like to see a bit of the process. The renovation consisted of a full gut to include:
Removal of all original interior.
Removal and replacement (via welding and treating) of a rusted floor frame cross beam.
All new electrical including: shore power 30 amp connection, circuit breaker box, wiring, outlets, and LED lighting.
Walls/Interior Shell: Spray foam insulation on walls and ceiling with vinyl wall paneling on entire interior shell.
Floors: Foam board insulation below plywood subfloor, and laminate snap-in dark wood flooring.
All new bathroom including: sliding barn style door, shower and fixtures, side sink, and Natures Head composting toilet with diverter and vent fan.
All new kitchen including: New Dometic Brisk Air II roof AC unit, deep kitchen sink and faucet, Vesta vintage stove/oven with new gas lines to 2 propane tanks on trailer tongue, Magic Chef fridge/freezer, wooden countertops, and base cabinets.
All new plumbing including: exterior connection for hose water hookup, 7 gallon Bosch hot water heater, new lines to bathroom and kitchen sinks and shower, and exterior gray water discharge spout.
Living room: New Envi high-efficiency whole room wall mounted heater, custom couch area for full/double sized futon/mattress in living room with storage below and long folding desk.
Bedroom: bed platform to fit custom queen sized bed with storage below and full sized closet with shelves.
Exterior: Repacked wheel bearings on each axel, new tow lights around exterior.

The previous owners original intent was to make the Airstream as light as possible, so all of the appliances and materials were selected with that in mind. It currently weighs in at about ~5,500lbs and was being hauled up and down the East coast by a Toyota Sequoia with no issues.

What I’ll be including in the sale will be all the appliances you see pictured, the living room futon/couch with dark brown leather slip cover (not pictured), the custom queen sized memory foam mattress, custom curtains for all the windows, and a 50’ 30 amp shore power cord.

Currently there are a few noted issues that shouldn’t take too much to repair to put her in tip top shape and those are as follows.
A handful of areas need to be resealed to prevent leaks (common maintenance for Airstreams!): vents on roof, seams around windows, the rear lights, and the base exterior seam.
Currently there is a tarp installed on top to prevent water damage as I’ve been unable to put the sealant on myself. I will be purchasing the Airstream recommended Vulkem sealant and if I have the time and a weather permitting day, my boyfriend and I will install it. If we don’t get around to it, I’ll include the sealant in the sale.
Interior LED light switch needs replacing.
Currently the light switch has been removed, the wires have been cut and capped, the inoperable switch has been reinstalled as to not have an open hole in the wall, and the breaker switch has been turned off for those lights. This light switch operates only the lights on the sides in the interior and not the lights in the center, so there is still ample light available.
Entry door needs realigned.
Currently you have to put a lot of pressure on the door in order to get it locked and it just needs to be realigned.

Although I’ve only had her for a few months, I’m sad to see her go! If you have any further questions or would like to see the Airstream in person, please reach out and I’ll get back to you soon.

Thanks for looking!
