Well, it ain’t a 1969. That was the first year of the new body style. My son has a 69 GlobeTrotter which is one size smaller than the Safari. Here is an exterior photo of his 69, the only year with the square corner wing windows in front.

And it ain’t a 66 through 68. Those are the leaky Corning “curved glass” window without drip rail years. It appears your trailer has flat glass and drip rails over the windows.

It does have the fiberglass tub and hidden console toilet (I think). That bath design started in 64 or 65. My 66 Trade Wind had one of those fiberglass “sink over tub’ bathrooms. The 67 bathroom was much improved design. Here is an exterior shot of my 66 with the curved glass windows and no drip rails for the “smooth” look.

So I’m guessing it is a 65 Safari. It has flat glass windows with drip rails over them and that fiberglass tub. If you post the serial number, the mystery would be solved.

Nice looking trailer by the way. Actually the year of a vintage Airstream has less effect on value than does its condition, and the length. Long trailers are worth less than the “cute” smaller ones like yours. A lot of people like the mid sixties trailers as they were the last of the “Wally Byam” years and still the “twinkie” body style. Your trailer is re-decorated from the original wood cabinetry which will need to be a buyer’s preference.

    David
