1969 Airstream Overlander 27ft travel trailer for sale. This model year was the first to sport the 1970's body style while retaining the rich real wood 1960's interior build. Ours has a rare and desirable light / blond wood interior. This is a two owner coach that has been well maintained and routinely used several times a year during our 22 year ownership. We have kept this coach original as possible, replacing worn out components with new in kind. The coach has the original layout and original (and working) refrigerator, Armstrong air conditioner, magic chef stove / oven combination. Original glass and vents. Original rear bath with china extended height toilet and spacious rear sink and side tub / shower providing that extra touch of luxury in the wilderness. Original and 100% functional interior lighting. Original no leaks copper tubing throughout and original fixtures, periodically rebuilt and completely functional. Gaucho and bed upholstery, curtains, furnace, hot water heater, water pump, aluminum 30 LB propane tanks and regulator value replaced during our ownership, as were the electric brakes, shocks and tires (2017) and any other maintenance item. We added the 17 foot A&E 8500 cloth, metal wrapped patio awning shortly after acquiring this coach, but it is still in very good shape. This coach sports one of the last available factory Bargeman L100 locks exactly replacing the original. As noted, we routinely use this coach traveling 100's of miles several times a year over the past 22 years. It is extremely comfortable for a couple or family of 4, sporting a center bedroom with twin beds, storage below and above. The front gaucho folds out to comfortable queen bed with convenient under shelf day storage for bedding. As the kids are grown and do not travel with us, we often prefer the twin bedroom and keep the sizable fold out dinette table up. The table has an extension and will comfortably fit 4 dinners.
