Up for sale is a 1966 26' Airstream Overlander Land Yacht. I am asking $3900 OBO.

I bought this guy about three years ago with the intention of fixing it up and living in it. I gutted most of the interior (there are a few pieces left that seemed usable, one overhead cabinet, a couple other odd's and ends) and removed two sections of the sub-floor that needed replacing (one small area near the door frame and the rear section under where the bathroom was, a single 4'x8' sheet of marine grade plywood should be enough to patch up both sections).

The interior mainly just needs to be cleaned out and painted. I have the rear cover for that appears to be missing in the photos.

Tires are good enough to pull on for now. When I bought the trailer I bought some used trailer tires and threw them on there just to get it home, they are still holding air and I don't see them being a problem for a short tow out of here. If restoring it I would go ahead and replace those before any long trips.

At the time I went ahead and bought a lot of what I needed to get the restoration under-way. I am sure I'm forgetting some things, but I think this is a pretty close list of everything that will be included:

- Enough Engineered Hardwood Flooring to cover the entire floor
- Propane On-Demand Hot Water Heater
- Electrical Receptacle's and Switches
- Stainless Steel Receptacle Covers and Switch Covers
- Rainfall Style shower head
- Very nice cast iron sink
- Several can lights and a strip of pivot-able spot lights

There's definitely more stuff I just can't remember it all.

The front panels in the corners are fairly dinged up, I can only assume this is from trees when someone was pulling into a campsite somewhere. The dents are purely aesthetic and do not cause any kind-of leaks/support problems. The panels are replaceable (with some work), which seems like if you are handy enough to restore the trailer you could do this as well without too much trouble. The frame and under body are in good, solid condition and seem very sturdy.

If you have any more questions please don't hesitate to email or call me. The asking price is, of course, negotiable, but I do think that with everything extra I am including $3900 isn't unreasonable.

I am missing the title, however I have looked into getting a replacement title from the NC DMV and it doesn't seem SUPER involved, (that said, we all know what dealing with the DMV can be like some days), they search the VIN, look over the trailer itself, maker sure everything is "clean" and after the check you get a clean title. I was going to do this once restoration was finished, but, as you can see, didn't make it that far.

The VIN # appears to be: JI266654
(you can read about how to interpret Airstream VIN #'s here: https://www.airstream.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/02/Reading-VIN-Numbers-pre-1980.pdf)
