A true vintage gem built for mountain living. Do not want to let this go, but must sell. I just completed insurance claim so I’m dropping the price and looking for a good owner to pass this onto before winter sets in. Serial no. 15352 – this 26’ 1964 Overlander was remodeled in 2017, but not completely finished. A perfect opportunity for you to put the finishing touches on this true vintage gem exactly how you want!
All of the labor-intensive, hard work has been done – including removing all of the old plumbing, electrical wiring, flooring, insulation, rivets and paneling – taking it down to the guts – replacing any areas that had rust, replacing electrical wiring, installing new insulation, flooring, compost toilet system, pump sink, cabinet doors, shelving, propane furnace, two-burner stove, fridge, oven, track lighting and more. It needs some new windows and window cranks. There is no a/c, but I do have two new fans that need to be installed. The rust situation is really good – i.e. there is no major rust. The double axles are good to go, but I haven’t messed with the brakes at all. It’s set up more like a tiny home than an RV’ing trailer.
Damage: Melting ice slid off the roof it was parked next to this past spring and dented the front exterior and into the interior. The front two panels on the right side are damaged and dented in. There isn’t a major crease so one estimator said he could hammer it out and it would be almost new except for two areas that would have scars. The other estimator found parts that total about $3,000. Selling as-is and taking into consideration this damage. Once fixed and buffed out, this trailer could easily value over $20,000!
As it is, it’s very comfortable living for someone looking for a tiny home – all you need is an electrical hookup and you’re ready to go!
