This vintage Land Yacht series, International edition Airstream has been affectionately repaired/renewed/ refurbished/renovated since we purchased it in 2001 ~ always with attention to its original mid-century aesthetic as we customized it.

The Traveler has an easy lay-out with front dinette upholstered in Herman Miller deco/ geo fabric, matching laminate tabletop & counters, a comfortable 48 x74 bed, a porcelain toilet and best quality Armstrong vinyl flooring. It has a new two-way refrigerator and other propane appliances: reliable 3-burner range w/oven, trusty furnace, and demand hot water heater. New light fixtures include 12V LED bulbs. And it has lots of storage space too.

We renewed the unique Zolatone speckled interior paint, restored or remodeled with the original mahogany ply cabinetry, rebuilt the door-within-a-door and all the windows (including exterior gaskets), and made muslin curtains. The interior and exterior electrical, plumbing, holding tanks, gas lines, Dexter axle, wheels and running gear are upgraded to today’s standards. We also added a SunBrella awning & Maxxis radial ply tires.

This iconic vintage Airstream is light-weight, nimble and easy to tow. Her body is soft-polished, leak-free and in good condition, reflecting only the minor scuffs and dings that accrue to all of us in 58 years. Everything is in excellent repair and ready for the road. She comes with vintage badges, clear title and a bill of sale.
