1959 Airstream Overlander is a worthy restore!
A spacious 26' foot layout.
With the twin bed layout, this floor plan can afford to accommodate a proper king+ (as in no curved corners bed)
And/or add twin bunks, with a sofa pull-out in front...many, many space gracious options with the groundwork already complete. Plenty of closet space and drawers! Fifties models Airstreams are some of the last all real wood interior trailers, we like that.
Only the refrigerator and drop-leaf table are missing.
Bathroom with shower and tub in the rear is neat too, a little privacy from the hull and a big window (brush your teeth with a view!)
The original interior Zolatone paint will brighten up nicely.
Vintage imagination aside, this trailer will require a full restore, everything needs love.
Running lights and brakes work.
Dual axle.
Bearings repacked.
Tires good and ready to roll.
Travels nicely as-is.
Systems are unchecked.
Floor near entry needs redoing.
Exterior is painted with white latex, could be stripped and polished.
Exterior aluminum panels are mostly straight, no big dents, a few dings.
