FOR SALE 1956 Airstream Safari
The Safari has a wonderful skin to start a project with. Many more pics: https://1956airstreamsafari.shutterfly.com

Carefully study the pictures while you look. I have not touched the inside. When I purchased it, the original fridge and stove were missing. The wet toilet (shower) looks good, however the commode is missing.
The wood in the trailer is solid. Aged in color, but not beat up although showing some wear around the dinette benches. The closets and medicine cabinet look good with the closets still containing working slides for hanging clothes
It does still have the original water heater, water tank- air pressure fed. and heating furnace. Carpet in the floor to cover deteriorated, 1950’s tile flooring. I do not know the condition of the water heater, water tank or heating furnace. The outsides look fairly clean and without rust.
The original LP tanks reside in the front.
As stated, the skin is very nice. Minimal (couple) of small dents of which I try to show in the pics., and 3 or 4 stone hits to low front. Coming from Florida, there is no gravel pecks all over the front. The banana wrap, especially on the curb side, has many places looks as if coke coolers etc have been pushed against it. The latch on the door has had some alterations to it. It works so I have not messed with it. I had planned to take care of any and all problems when I started the project.
I do have the original vent for the location where the A/C is located if one were to want to move or remove the A/C.
I towed it some 1100 miles total between FL and TN. and then parked it. It pulled wonderfully. I do not know condition of the running gear.
I did not try to use the brakes or lights, opting to use portable tail lights to tow.
I have attempted to give a good description of what is here, without fluff or hiding things. You look at the pics and judge for yourself.
I tried desperately to upload 10 pics on this site that would show up straight. Dont know what the problem is. But, Please look at my picture share site listed here:
I have messed with Airstreams for many years. I know what I’ve got. I will not try to hold anyone up, but expect a fair price. Interested, lets talk. I’ll make the first move.
