Colin Hyde Rotisserie floor/axle/frame Restoration!!

Very Rare 1956 13-panel 22 foot Airstream "Custom" actually not a Flying Cloud or Safari but extremely rare Custom model. Customs were special ordered from the factory with the ability to "customize" the layout/furnishings. Very few built.

Has had full floor replacement, frame reinforcement, new axle/brakes/belly pan/grey tank installation (On a rotisserie) by Colin Hyde Restorations. If you know airstreams, you know Colin and that he does things correctly. Colin currently has a waiting list for his work - buy this and jump the line! Recent injury and job change caused inability for me to complete this dream. Most of the "heavy lifting" involved in restoration is completed, you have the ability to finish with layout/furnishing/colors as you see fit. Will be a very rare and high dollar trailer when completed.

Over 20k spent with Colin on Restoration, previous to that over 4k with Chevy Ave restorations in Norwich, NY. another 10k in parts, new A/C unit, new fantastic fans, original cabinets stripped and refinished, many parts including Furnace powder coated, new intellipower unit, new stovetop water heater, water tanks, and much more. Original electric Marvel Fridge (Works!), original oven/stove/. Shell reinforced for rooftop A/C, subframe for spare fabricated to go in custom box underneath trailer. Custom aluminum bumper and rear box fabricated. Frame extended in front for double propane tanks.

Currently a stalled project, inside aluminum panels/final wiring still needs completing. All panels and trim parts were removed and labeled for restoration.

Original layout is very similar to this one:

Over $39 k invested, pay for only partial restoration costs/parts and get the airstream/parts and my labor (1000 hrs or so) for free!

Reuced to $24.5 k OBO - negotiable to right person. Please call or email for details and more pics of restoration/documents if interested.
